Toxin (Rare)
TOXIN
OVERVIEW
- Toxin is a beautiful marking inspired by the exotic, but dangerously toxic, Poison Dart Frog. Shown above are SEVERAL examples of what it can do. It can minimally create blotchy/bandy/spotty markings in black or in colors inspired by real poison dart frogs. Look at dart frogs for inspiration for these colors!
- The black markings can be surrounded by uneven patching with bright dart frog inspired colors gradiented onto it, or have uneven borders around it in these colors. The black spotting can be densely packed on this, and can even have light soft rings/borders around it on these spots. Shown above are a few examples of the effects of Toxin. Have fun!
- Alternatively, Toxin may be restricted to the scales, giving them the colors of a Poison Dart Frog without needing Bicolor or Tricolor, and giving the poison dart frog spotting all over them.
- Toxin may not appear on the body if it is restricting to the scales unless Marked Scales is used. HOWEVER, the black part can leak onto the scales if using the normal way Toxin works.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Toxin can effect any part of the Drakiri's body, but does not touch the Mane or Tail fur, nor does it touch the horns or hooves, mouth, or flesh. At least a small patch of Toxin should appear around the shoulders, midsection, or flank area.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Toxin must be black or near black unless effected by Reversal, Glimmer or Firefly.
- Toxin may not contain a gradient and must be hard edged.
- Spectrum can turn the colorful parts of Toxin rainbow
LAYERING
- Toxin layers above all markings aside from Stone, Piebald, Pigeon, and Roan.
- It can cover up other scale markings if the scale option is used
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Toxin can effect the wings formed by Phoenix.
OTHER INFORMATION
- If you are not sure on the shape of Toxin, include an image of the dart frog you used for reference when submitting your Drakiri for approval.
- On Epistatic White Drakiri, Toxin can take on subtle pastel colors with the black parts being light grey, or restrict to the scales in its normal colors.

TRICOLOR
OVERVIEW
- A scale color modifier, turning the scales from one color to three colors.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Tricolor effects the scales, anything that is Glimmered, or anything that is effected by Firefly.

COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Tricolor needs to have three colors that do not clash with each other.
- Tricolor can contain a gradient between the three colors, or hard edges as long as it does not resemble any other markings.
- Tricolor can also effect Marked Scales by making the marks on the scales take on different colors depending on the marking. It can also effect other scale specific markings.
LAYERING
- Tricolor is a scale modifier and will follow the layering rules of the marks present on the scales.

Gilded (Rare)
Makes a marking metallic. They can be based on any metal (Gold, Silver, Copper, Bronze for example) and can take on a tarnished look/texture. It can also take on a "Brushed Aluminum" texture as well.
It can also make the horn's, flesh, and hooves metallic looking with some subtle metallic textures to them as well!
Gilded can interact with Satin to make the entire Drakiri look like they are made of metal (If you want to do metallic shiny to the entire Drakiri), though the base coat colors should still be based on the Drakiri's base coat.

A Rare marking, changes the Drakiri to a pastel color, with the markings being other pastels, can create markings inspired by painted easter eggs
Geno Code: Egg
Melanism (Rare)
Makes the Drakiri completely black, covering all markings. It is like Albinism, but completely black.
Like with Albinism, Satin, Shimmer, Glimmer, Vibrant Mane and Firefly can show over the coat.
Melanism Makes the eyes vividly colored, optional faint glow effect. Red eyes are encouraged, but not required
The ability Shadeborn makes Melanism more likely to pass
If Albinism and Melanism appear on the same geno, you have a few choices
-Choose Albinism
-Choose Melanism
-Allow them to cancel eachother out and not appear on the Drakiri
When interacting with Marbled or Chimerism, they can marble together and make a Drak that is both Melanistic and Albino at the same time
Halfmane (Rare)
Part of the main is removed. For manes that only effect the neck, this mutation doesn't have to show, but it can remove everything but just the part on the head if this is preferred, making it look like the Drakiri just has hair or bangs and no mane on their neck. Most commonly, removes the mane on the back, leaving just the neck named, but optionally it can remove the mane on the neck, leaving the mane down the back, or remove the mane starting around halfway down the back, or remove the parts of the mane that appear on the limbs in manes such as Fringed and Friesian.

- Albino Drakiri have some special rules
- No Markings may show on an albino coat. It must be white or off white.
- The scales must be a soft, subtle pastel color.
- Flesh must be a very soft pink unless a coat modifier is present. Then it can be a color relative to that (So Sapphire can have very light desaturated

Angora (Rare)
Angora is a fur mutation.
The lower belly of the Drakiri is covered in fur! This removes the underbelly and lower neck scales in the process.
Should use the Reduced Scales/Angora/Barbary scale type. Optionally, Angora can be player designed. If Angora and Extended scales appear on the same geno, edit out the belly scales that clash with the location of Angora.
If Angora layers oddly with any physical traits or other mutations, it should be edited to fit right. Angora should follow the body color and markings rather than the mane color and markings.
If Angora appears with Longhair or Reindeer, and their layers clash, you can either leave it as is (Despite some layering weirdness), edit them to interact properly or choose which one expresses.
Cobra (Rare)
Adds a Cobra hood to your Drakiri. Has four different possible effects. 1 - Cobra replaces the mane. 2 - Cobra removes the mane entirely, making your Drakiri appear Maneless. 3 - Cobra appears with your Drakiri's mane, though player edits may be needed. 4 - Cobra can also be player designed! If you don't want to use the cobra frill provided, you can draw your own variation of it!

Extended Scales (Rare)
More Scales are present on your Drakiri. The scale later titled "Extended Scales" should be used instead of normal scales.
Extended Scales has no effect on Komakha and Komakha crosses.
Extended Scales can interact with Smooth to create a fullbody scale effect where the entire body is covered in scales, but follow the colors and markings the body would be if it wasn't scales. This, of course, would require player modification. Otherwise, they can either cancel eachother out, or you can choose which one to express.
Extended and Reduced scales can interact to have only the extra scales from Extended Scales showing on the Drakiri. This is also a player edit. In this case, they can either cancel eachother out or you choose which one to express.

Feathering (Rare)
Adds long, often thick fur forming feathering around the hooves of the drakiri, similar to some breeds of draft horse. While each base has premade Feathering, you are fully allowed to design your own to make it fit with the manes better.
Feathering may layer oddly with some other fur mutations. In this case, edit it to make it work.
Feathering can either follow the mane in color, or the body. It'll be like the fur on the Mystic tails, with the fur blending into the rest.

Longhair (Rare)
Covers the entire Drakiri's body in thick, soft fur. Two versions are possible - with scales, and without scales. The Drakiri must have the Smooth mutation alongside Longhair to use the scaleless version.
Longhair may clash with some other mutations and/or mane types and you are fully allowed to edit this to make it work better together.
Longhair may also be fully player designed if you want to put the work into it. This can be useful if you have a certain long fluffy pattern you prefer to use. Otherwise, you can just use the Longhair layers in the fur mutations folder.
