Marking Codes: /cRon/nRon/RonRon
- A soft white gradient over the top half of the Drakiri. It can have small holes showing the colors beneath. It may have a subtle film grain like texture to it, but must be one consistant color throughout. Gradient can give it a little variance, but it must remain in shades of white or off white unless effected by Reversal, which turns it black. As a variant, it can also resemble the markings of an Appaloosa horse. Roan can appear in up to three transparency levels, and can fade into the base coat. This is a fullbody marking and can appear anywhere on the Drakiri, even effecting the mane where it touches. Roan can not effect the scales unless Marked Scales is present. You can look at roan and appaloosa horses for inspiration for this marking!

MIN RANGE
- Roan can show as just a little subtle lightening around the rump of the Drakiri, or a dusting of white with optional holes cut into it.

It can create a cloud or smoke effect either overlaying all markings, or effecting their texture and edge, It can also change the shape of the edges of markings, making them appear cloudy or smokey, and can soften the edges without turning them into a gradient. The second two examples above show Smoke affecting blanket.
- It can also form a nearly full-coverage Overcast marking that obscures other markings. It has similarities to Piebald using this effect, but is darker, soft-edged, and with less range. These effects can be combined to create a dark cloudy effect over the Drakiri's body and other markings.

If Piebald or Roan covers the face, this effect can be used with Piebald or Roan as well. This effect can display on Epistatic White Drakiri as well. Koi can optionally restrict to the scales. Sunkissed (Uncommon)
Category: Markings
Species: Drakiri
Sunkissed
OVERVIEW
Marking Codes: /cSuk/nSuk/SukSuk
- Sunkissed is a gradient that appears over the back of the Drakiri, with light beam effects. It increases brighteness, saturation, and warms up the color tone. It can also have a bit of a light filtering through water effect, and can interact nicely with Flow. Sunkissed must look natural, and must not obscure markings, but rather effect the color of them where it touches. It can create broken dapple like effects, like sunlight filtering through leaves. A suggestion is to use a layer mask and mess with the opacity of it until it looks right.
- Alternatively, Sunkissed can create shapes like light being scattered like a prism around the shoulders, and onto the limbs. This can be triangular, rectangular, or various mixes of shapes. It can also now shift between two warm colors when using warm colors for some interesting effects.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- It can only appear on the topside of the Drakiri, shining downward. Minimally, it can appear just around the shoulder area.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Sunkissed effects the colors of the markings where it lays, warming and brightening the colors.
LAYERING
- Sunkissed appears over every other marking, and can even warm up the tone of Piebald where it sits
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Sunkissed can effect the wings in the same areas as Sable

Thylacine (Uncommon)
Category: Markings
Species: Drakiri
THYLACINE
OVERVIEW
Marking Codes: /cThy/nThy/ThyThy
- Thylacine is a marking similar to what could be found on Tasmanian Tigers, Quolls, and other marsupials. It has many effects that it can do. It can create a dark or light gradient on the rear of the Drakiri, with vertical, non-forking stripes. It can extend onto the tail. If the gradient is dark, the stripes should be light. If the gradient is light, the stripes should be dark. If effected by Cutout, the stripes can be cut out of the gradient. It can also create light or dark stripes without the gradient, and the stripes can fade into the base coat, be traced by darker edges, which can fade with the stripe. See examples above for what Thylacine can do. It can be any combination of soft gradient on the rear, stripe, traced stripe solid or traced stripe faded.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Thylacine is restricted to the tail and rear end of the Drakiri, though its range can be extended with marking interactions. Thylacine Stripes can extend across the body if interacting with Sable, can appear on the shoulders and hips if interacting with Saddle, and can give Stripes the Thylacine effects if interacting with stripes (The tracing and fading effects, the Gradient should still remain on the rear. You can see more info and interactions, here!
MIN RANGE
- Just a few stripes on the hindquarters are required.
MAX RANGE
- Thylacine can start near the midsection, and terminate near the end of the tail.
OTHER RANGE INFO
- Stripes from Thylacine may not fork or touch. They must be thickest where they touch the back, and taper to a sharp point where they end. Thylacine stripes may curve with the shape of the body beneath them.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Thylacine can be lighter or darker than the base coat, as can the gradient beneath it. If the gradient is light, the stripes should be dark and vice versa. If using the traced option, the tracing on the stripes should be darker than the striped, and can be slightly blended/soft.
- Thylacine can not be have a gradient on the stripes, though they may fade into the base coat.
LAYERING
- Thylacine can appear above or below any marking aside from Appaloosa, Roan, Piebald or Stone.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Thylacine does not affect any physical mutations, though it can appear on both tails if the Drakiri is Polycaudal.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Thylacine can be affected by Glimmer.
