Comet (Legendary)
Marking Codes: /cCmt/nCmt/CmtCmt
Comet has a few very unique effects. It can create a flaming comet mark along the side of the Drakiri, or on their neck, or more than one. It can be three shade of any color, from blues to greens to fiery. It can also create fiery effects on the feet and legs of the Drakiri, and turn th e mane semi-transparent, almost as if it is etherael and fiery. Alternatively, it can give the scales a fiery texture. Comet can also impart the fiery almost glowy effect to the hooves and horn/s.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Comet can be any vibrant color that does not clash with the base coat. It does not require Vibrant Mane to color the mane, though the comet marks, the flame effects on the legs, and the mane and tail fur must all follow the same color scheme with up to 3 shades of the same color.
LAYERING
- Comet can layer over or under any other marking, and can even appear on albino Drakiri. It is one of the few that appears over top of Piebald and Stone.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Comets can appear on the wings of Phoenix

Falsewing (Legendary)
Falsewing
Marking Codes: /cFls/nFls/FlsFls
Creates a wing marking on the side of the Drakiri. This can be butterfly wings, moth wings, insect wings in general, angel wings, demon wings, bird wings or stylized wings. It can also create feather markings on the Drakiri.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Falsewing colors are based on the wings it is referencing.
LAYERING
- Falsewing lays on top of all markings. It can even appear on top of Piebald. On Albinism, it may appear as long as it is subtle.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Falsewing can impart the colors and patterns of any real life wings onto Phoenix instead of it appearing on the Drakiri's sides.

Firefly (Legendary)
FIREFLY
OVERVIEW
- Marking Codes: /cFfl/nFfl/FflFfl
- A legendary marking modifier, that acts similar to Glimmer but makes a marking glow with bioluminescence. It comes with the Darksight ability. It can effect anything that Glimmer effects. A Drakiri's scales can glow. Alternatively, Firefly can create glowing dots on the Drakiri, resembling fireflies.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Firefly is a marking modifier, and so follows the range of whatever marking it is effecting.
- If the glowing dots marking version is used, these can appear anywhere on the Drakiri, but won't effect the scales or mane/tail fur.
MIN RANGE
- As a marking
- Firefly creates glowing dots that can appear in lines along the Drakiri's sides, neck and face. It must either show as a few glowing dots here and there, or modify at least one marking on the Drakiri.
- As a modifier
- it must effect at least 1 marking, or, minimally, effect the hooves, flesh, and/or horns.
MAX RANGE
- As a Marking
- Full Body like marking, creating dots from the head to the rump.
- As a Modifier
- Firefly can modify every marking on the Drakiri as long as the Drakiri does not look too much like another base coat. Firefly covers up Glimmer when both appear on the same geno.
OTHER RANGE INFO
- If being used as a marking modifier, Firefly can not show up as a standalone marking. It must be used either its own marking, or a modifier.
- Firefly can affect the base, making the entire Drakiri glow.
- Firefly can make the flesh, hooves, eyes and horn glow.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Firefly can modify any marking, unless specified otherwise.
LAYERING
- If used as a marking, Firefly layers over top of all markings aside from Piebald, Stone and Pigeon. It can actually appear over top of Piebald and Roan, and can even appear on an albino Drakiri,
- If used as a marking modifier, Firefly follows the rules of the marking it is modifying. Like Glimmer, it can make markings appear in pastel colors on an albino Drakiri, and they can glow. It can also make the entire Drakiri glow white.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- In its marking form
- Firefly can create dots on the wings
- In its modifier form
- follows the rules of the marking it is modifying.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Firefly must have visible glowing effects. This is easily achieved by placing using a soft brush over the top of the lineart.

Galactic (Legendary)
OVERVIEW
- Galactic is a marking/color modifier, that can cover markings, act as an overlay, and allow some markings to appear beneath it. It gives the Drakiri a beautiful Galactic theme.
- Alternatively, Galactic can restrict its effects to the Drakiri's scales.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Galactic is a fullbody marking. If not using the scale restriction alternative effect, Galactic must effect the entire Drakiri. Minimally, the Drakiri should be turned black with a Starfield effect. The other markings may show, and can take on galactic themed shapes. Frosted can create star shapes, Dapples like larger stars or suns, Spots like planets... Have fun with this!
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Any galactic theme goes, the base coat is turned black with a starfield effect. Nebula and galactic themed markings appear in blues, purples, greens, teals, magentas, and similar colors.
- Markings that are restricted to dark are allowed to be a light blue and have a faint glow effect. This goes for light markings as well! The glow can not be as strong as Firefly, but it can have a very nice effect!
LAYERING
- Galactic must layer over all markings. It cancels out Stone.
- Galactic can allow markings to show through it or give markings a spacey theme.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Galactic affects all physical mutations.

Lacework (Legendary)
Lacework
OVERVIEW
- Creates beautiful, intricate lacework inspired patterns all over your Drakiri. From Filligree to paisley, and others. It can have up to 3 natural colors, and semi transparent filling in some parts.
- Outline lacework is always 100% opacity and should remain thin. It can have subtle variances in line thickness throughout, depending on the design.
- Lacework's inner colors can have up to 3 natural colors, unless Glimmer is involved. Glimmer means one color in three different shades can appear inside. Glimmer and Bicolor allows two colors, Glimmer and Tricolor allows three, Glimmer and Spectrum allows rainbow gradients inside. Bicolor and Tricolor can allow the inner parts of Lacework to have Gradients. The second two examples are examples of Lacework effected by Glimmer.
- Gradient does not effect Lacework. The outline can not be effected by Bicolor, Tricolor or Spectrum.
- Lacework's inner areas can be anywhere between 80% and 0% opacity

- Lacework can appear on any part of the Drakiri

- Lacework can appear in up to 3 natural colors lighter or darker than the base coat.
LAYERING
- Lacework can layer over or under any other markings. Lacework can interact with Piebald to make Piebald resemble bits of lacework all over the Drakiri. Lacework can also modify markings to have its effects in their shape.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Lacework can cover up other markings on the Drakiri.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Albino Drakiri can show Lacework, in shades of white and off white.

Gemstone (Legendary)
OVERVIEW
- A legendary marking that has many options, Gemstone is a beautiful marking that is also very versatile! Gemstone can change the basecoat coat the the color of a gemstone with the markings appearing on that type of gem or mineral, or, in cases like Picture Jasper, cover up the markings of a Drakiri entirely giving a very unique effect. Alternatively, Gemstone can give the Drakiri a fasceted pattern and change their coat color to bright or vibrant colors without the need for coat modifiers. It can also have a "Geode" effect with patches on the Drakiri traced in dark or light, with layers of color within, or those patches having the effects of various gemstones and picture jaspers in it. (Examples coming soon)
- Gemstone can also restrict to the scales, making them appear to be made out of gems, such as Picture Jasper or other pretty and varied gems.
- Gemstone Pattern (Use a layer mask to make it blend with your Drak and feel free to mess around with it)
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Gemstone covers the entire Drakiri, mane, scales, and coat, with the colors and patterns found on various naturally occurring stones. Additionally, the colors of the gemstone can affect the base coat and marking colors and even shape instead.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- The colors of Gemstone can reflect any natural stone. The markings of the stone can replace the marking on the Drakiri.
- The Gemstone can just affect the color of the base coat, allowing markings to still show. Markings can reflect colors from similar gemstones in this case, and the shape of them can be affected to resemble the unique marks found on many gemstones.
- A Drakiri can also gain a crystalline, faceted texture, with the markings subtle on their shining, Crystalline body.
LAYERING
- Gemstone covers the colors and modifiers present on a Drakiri, and can, optionally, cover the markings, but can also change the color of markings.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Gemstone can cover all markings and the base coat, including physical mutations.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Albino Drakiri with Gemstone can resemble Opals, Quartz and other white or near white gemstones. Their markings are allowed to show subtly on their coat.
- Their horns may take on a gemstone color/texture.
- Gemstone is beautiful and versatile, but you must provide a picture of the stone you are referencing when submitting your Gemstone Drakiri for approval.

Runic (Legendary)
RUNIC
OVERVIEW
- This legendary marking creates geometric runic-looking swirls on the Drakiri's body. The swirls are Atlantean/Celtic inspired. It can modify existing markings to appear Runic/Atlantean.
- Runic may also create actual runes on the Drakiri's body. The runes may follow a fictional alphabet, as long as it's not copyrighted in source.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Runic can effect the entire coat of the Drakiri.
MIN RANGE
- Runic must be at least visible on the hindquarters.
MAX RANGE
- Runic can cover the Drakiri's entire coat.
OTHER RANGE INFO
- Runic can, optionally, be restricted to the scales, giving each one an interesting, atlantean spiral.
- Runic can not affect the mane or tail
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Runic is lighter in color than the base coat
- Runic must have hard edges without any texture
- Runic can have a gradient from a darker on the back to lighter on the belly, limbs and face.
LAYERING
- Runic layers over top of most markings, aside from Piebald, Pigeon, Roan, and Stone.

- Runic can appear on the wings from Phoenix.

Serpent (Legendary)
SERPENT
OVERVIEW
- A legendary marking that covers all other markings and the Drakiri's base coat into the unique patterns found on snakes and other reptiles. Any snake or reptile that exists can be referenced from on a Drakiri with Serpent.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Serpent covers the entire Drakiri, mane, scales, and coat, with the colors and patterns found on Snakes and other reptiles or amphibians.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- No colors and markings on the geno alongside Serpent show on a Drakiri. Serpent is a full body marking that covers all other markings.
LAYERING
- Serpent can cover all other markings and the base coat.
- Serpent can take on the colors of a modifier if it is present in the geno, but the shape of the Reptile markings must be recognizable.
- If you can make the marking fit well with Serpent, it may appear on the Import.
- Base coat layering markings such as Dipped, Blanket, Underbelly, Sable, Pangare and Hood can not affect Serpent.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Serpent covers all markings and the base coat, including physical mutations.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Albino Drakiri with Serpent must reference white or light colored snake, such as an albino boa or similar.
- When submitting your Serpent Drakiri for approval, provide a photo of the snake or reptile you referenced when designing your Drakiri.
- The patterns on the Drakiri do not have to be exact, but must be recognizable as the snake they were referenced from. It can be stylized and personalized!
- If the markings provided look good with Serpent, or a simple snake is used, they can be added in on top of Serpent.
- Piebald can resemble piebald snakes

Bug (Legendary)
Bug

Your Drakiri's markings and colors mimic that of a real life bug or insect. Any bug or insect goes, the ones above are just a few examples of what insects can look like. Provide a photo of the insect you referenced your Drakiri from. It may be stylized and personalized, as long as it's inspired by the bug.
LAYERING
- Bug covers up all markings, other than Piebald, Stone and Satin. Bug can even appear on albino Drakiri, in very light colors.
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Bug can extend onto the wings.

Spectrum (Legendary)
SPECTRUM
OVERVIEW
- Modifies the scales, markings and/or mane to be rainbow colored. This can either be bright and vibrant, or pastel.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Spectrum turns the scales a bright rainbow of colors. It must effect all of the Drakiri's scales if being used on the scales. It can also effect their flesh, horns, hooves, mane, and/or markings without requiring Glimmer or Vibrant Mane.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Spectrum must present either as a vibrant rainbow, or a pastel rainbow.
- Spectrum must present with a gradient between all the rainbow colors.
- Spectrum covers up Bicolor and Tricolor.
LAYERING
- Spectrum layers beneath other scale specific markings.

Stained Glass (Legendary)
Stained Glass
Option 1 - True Stained Glass
Option 2: Faux Stained Glass/ Stained Resin, which has way more options and patterns available!
Creates beautiful stained glass effects on your Drakiri with beautiful colors. This can modify markings, or be a standalone marking of its own. Alternatively, it can create patterns like stained resin as well, allowing for ripples and color variances. A glass ripple overlay is allowed beneath the dark borders. Markings can change their shape, such as Teardrop forming leaves, Spots and Dapples forming flowers. The borders should be fairly uniforn, and should only contain one color each, but may containe subtle gradients. Flow can make these colors "ripple" together. The edges can effect the mane where they touch.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Stained Glass effects your Drakiri's entire body. It does not effect the scales, and the black borders bleeding onto the mane is optional.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Stained Glass can take on numerous colors, without needing Glimmer or Spectrum. The black borders may have a gradient. Glimmer can make them appear as if they are made of gold or silver.
LAYERING
- Stained Glass is both a fullbody marking and a marking modifier.

Tie Dye (Legendary)
Replaces the Base Coat, and optionally markings, with tye die or acrylic pour effects. Colors are not restricted at all, but must look nice together. It can be complex, or simple. For the acrylic pour effect, the markings can appear to be "Poured" in.
Optionally, this marking can be restricted to the scales.

Tribal (Legendary)
TRIBAL
OVERVIEW
- Tribal is a legendary marking that can either present as its own marking, or as a marking modifier. It is two-toned, usually black and red unless color modifiers are present.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Tribal is a fullbody marking, but can, minimally, present on the Drakiri's face. It does not affect the mane or scales in its marking form, but in its modifier form it affects whatever the marking it is modifying affects.
MIN RANGE
- Tribal must at least appear on the Drakiri's face.
MAX RANGE
- Tribal can create markings all over the Drakiri's body, or modify all the markings on the Drakiri's body into two-toned tribal marks.
OTHER RANGE INFO
- Tribal does not affect the scales
- Tribal can not affect the mane or tail fur unless affecting a marking that does
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- Tribal always has a black rim and red on the inside.
- Tribal can have a subtle gradient in the red part.
- Glimmer or Firefly can change the red inside the marking to any other color.
- Tribal must be hard edged and can not have a textured edge

Tropical (Legendary)
TROPICAL
OVERVIEW
- Tropical mimics the colors and patterns found on various birds. While tropical birds are often the most colorful, this can follow any bird in its colors, patterns, and markings. Unlike other similar markings, it does not always cover up the markings, but rather changes their colors to vibrant, tropical macaw like colors. Tropical changes the colors of the basecoat and al markings laying on it. Above, is a Drakiri with Tropical, Siamese, Blanket, Collar, Mask and Mane Tips. Face markings based on various birds are permitted on Drakiri with this legendary marking. Optionally, the Drakiri may take on the markings and colors of a
RANGE AND DETAILS
- Tropical is a fullbody modifier, changing the color of the basecoat, scales and mane. It can mimic any exotically colored bird.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- The Colors of the Tropical marking are almost limitless, being inspired by macaws, parrots, Parakeets and other tropical birds. Other birds, however, are allowed for the inspiration! It does not have to be a tropical bird; they are just the most colorful.
- Markings such as Dipped, Panda, Blanket, Underbelly and similar become a vibrant tropical color while markings such as Leopard, Tabby and other stripe and spot style markings are allowed to be black against the vibrant colors beneath.
- Tropical is a color modifier that does not cover up markings, but does cover up all other modifiers, including coat modifiers. No matter what coat color or modifiers your Drakiri has, you can choose any vibrant tropical color that comes from or is inspired by a tropical bird.
LAYERING
- Tropical is a fullbody color modifier that can lay between or above any and all markings
PHYSICAL MUTATIONS
- Tropical will extend the modifying colors and patterns onto the wings of Phoenix. All modified markings follow the rules of everything aside from color. Tropical can also give the wings the patterns and colors found on real birds.
OTHER INFORMATION
- When submitting a Drakiri with Tropical to Design Approval, please provide a photo of the bird you referenced for your Drakiri if you aren't sure if the colors chosen are acceptable.
- Tropical is a pretty lenient marking, and has many choices of what you can do with it.
GOOD EXAMPLES
Split (Common)
Split
OVERVIEW
- A common mane specific marking that creates wide bands of a natural color in the mane.
RANGE AND DETAILS
- This marking can effect all mane and tail fur
- Minimally, Split can make just the bangs of the Drakiri a different color than the rest, or one wide band anywhere in the mane. Up to 50% of the mane fur can be covered by this marking, and the wider bands can be mixed with the smaller bands.
- At least one band of color should appear on the mane, or up to three, with roughly half the mane being covered by this other color.
COLOR TEXTURE AND GRADIENT
- This marking can only be one color throughout and can not contain a gradient (Other than matching the allowable free mane gradient) unless effected by the marking Gradient.
LAYERING
- This marking can layer over or under other mane specific markings, but appears beneath piebald
OTHER INFORMATION
- Split can be effected by Vibrant Mane and Glimmer, but Split can also appear in natural colors on a mane that is effected by Vibrant Mane for some interesting effects.

Vitiligo (Uncommon)
Creates specks, patches, ticking and spots of white on the Drakiri's coat, mane and scales. Covers all markings. It is usually concentrated around the face and limbs. It can be compared to an extension of Minimal White, and should not be as extensive as Piebald or Roan.

Gilded (Rare)
Makes a marking metallic. They can be based on any metal (Gold, Silver, Copper, Bronze for example) and can take on a tarnished look/texture. It can also take on a "Brushed Aluminum" texture as well.
It can also make the horn's, flesh, and hooves metallic looking with some subtle metallic textures to them as well!
Gilded can interact with Satin to make the entire Drakiri look like they are made of metal (If you want to do metallic shiny to the entire Drakiri), though the base coat colors should still be based on the Drakiri's base coat.
