[Gift] Ruin and Tanulia [Midsummer Madness]

A devout shrine maiden noticed a dark figure shrouded in black smoke slumped next to a decaying tree during one of the hottest days of the season. She couldn't help but get curious. Each step filled her nose with an increasingly intense smell until-

Crack.

Her foot landed on a small twig just as she got under the nearly barren branches of the tree. She soon realised it was massive, this being, as it stood sharply.

"A demon." Tanulia spoke softly to herself.

It shook its head while taking a step back. Ruin had not meant to cause any harm but it lost control of a spell it was practicing. The unfortunate target was a tall birch on the grounds of a shrine path. 

The sweet smell of temptation drew the maiden closer.

"This must be another one of my trials," she said before increasing her pace. Ruin could no longer deny that in this body, it was now a part of this world as one of them. A smell so sweet could hardly be denied. It let her smaller body approach.

'Mating season will surely drive me mad.' It thought before accepting her advances.
