error 404 storm

The sun was set high in the sky with the rings of Galabastarin showing or so one would think. Purplish gray clouds looming far off can be seen and the faint rumble of thunder that sent birds flying from all the tall trees in the forest where three siblings had taken a break from their traveling.   

Soon the sun was being covering up like a blanket being thrown over it and now it was dark.  Most of the animals in the forest hid or fled as if something bad was coming or something just really off. It was now super quiet in the forest and the only sound was leaves being blown around on the ground or in the trees. 

Haulani took notice and looked at his siblings. “Is it me or has the forest just gone quiet?” He looked at the other two.   

Yasu sighed and pointed to the clouds. “A storm coming so most creatures would hide or find cover. We will be fine traveling in the storm.” she saw her brother's face and let out a long drawn sigh. How did she end up with brothers like them?  

“But sis my fluffy tail will get so messy and super hard to get it looking all nice and don’t get me on are cruel manes.  Last time we got them messy and muddy. It took days to get the tangles out and beside me and Haulani don’t want to look like drowning rats.” Zephyr said, looking at his sister then brother.

Haulani nodded. “Let go and find somewhere to wait out this storm. Besides, I would look so bad if I was soaking wet. We did fly by a cave on our here so we can go back stay there until the storm passes us and then head back home and we can grab some firewood just if it gets cold.”  

As the three talk the storm gets ever closer and a mythic sprite cross with curled ears, yun mane and tail and fae horns that seem to glitch out or the yun tail would have a wildly crazy glitch out and then calm down. 404 stands out a bit with its bright gold magenta coat. It looks up hearing the three talking and listening.

Rain drops started to come down on the three siblings but they were so busy talking that none of them even took notice of Error 404 just watching them and the thunderstorm now over their heads. Its large eyes look at Yasu for a long time now.      

She felt the rain drops and waited to see what her two brothers would know that it was raining but their faces looked like they saw a ghost or something. She blinked. “Are you both ok?” she asked. 

Haulani pointed past her with one claw finger as his eyes wide and mouth open. He could not believe what he was seeing now as he and Zephyr fully forgot about the thunderstorm and just stared at what was happening.

Zephyr kept rubbing his eyes and blinking but every time he saw the copy of his sister it sent chills down his spine. What was going on? 

Yasu looked behind her and there was a copy of herself just a few branches away and she just stared at it or a copy of her staring back.  Then the copy of herself the markings on the body glitch out a few times and it made Yasu back up a bit. 

“What in the world is it?  It copies you right down to every detail but then it glitch out from time to time.” Haulani looks at his sister then sees the copy of his sister. 

Error 404 who looks just like Yasu looks at Haulani. “I am your sister, that is who I am.” 

All three fell out of the tree in sheer shock as it sounded just like Yasu. 

Yasu stared at the wet ground as she was wide-eyed and just shocked as to what was unfolding before her and her brothers. Was this Error 404 she heard others tell tales about?  Copying the looks of others and being seen as one of the many drakiri builds. She looked up to see her brother Haulani but then noticed  Haulani a few feet from her. 

“Sister, are you ok?” 404 taking on Haulani look now and not Yasu. 

The real Haulani watches as he backs up. “Don’t listen to it sister, it's not the real me.” He was taken off guard by this.  Would it take on his brother from next? He saw it mane and tail glitching out and then the mane and tail was gone then back again glitch.

“Yasu come over here.” Zephyr said as he watched this copy of his brother.  It was freaky how its markings were now glitching out but then coming to stop.     

She did not hear her brother, only his voice was faint and far off to her as she was staring at Error 404.  This Error this thing was just not right and it freaked out Yasu deep down in her soul. She blinked and it took on the look of Zephyr and got into her face. 

“Sister.” Error looking like Zephyr called her. “You have not spoken a word.  You sure you're ok” it asked in her own brother's voice. 

Zephyr's face went pale blue seeing this. He watched as this thing that took his look and its eyes were getting all glitch out then its body was glitching out as if it was going to be gone but then it calmed down and it turned to look at him and Haulani. 

Haulani snorted and walked over to it. “Whatever game you are playing, creature stop it now.  You're freaking out my sister, not your sister.” he growls. 

Error 404 looks at Haulani as Zephyr just staring as its eyes start to glitch as it blinks.  “Brother I am just trying to help our sister out but someone has freaked her out.” It looks at Yasu. 

Yasu snarls at Error and the lighting from the storm lights up Yasu making her now look angry with her snarling face and narrow eyes. “You take on the looks of me and my brothers and use our own voices for what?  Play? Trying to make friends?”  She snapped at Error.  

Zephyr never seen his sister so angry like this and look to see Error form glitch out as it change as it glitch out to it mythic sprite cross form but now it coat was black chroma with underbelly being black and black mask but other marking seem to not stay and glitch out to another marking. Zephyr blinked at this and looked at Haulani. “Have you ever seen anything like this?” he asked. 

Haulani shook his head. This was like some horror movie or felt like it as he jumped when a loud rumble of thunder rolled in and bolts of lightning danced across the dark gray purple sky. His mane and tail were getting wet but he pushed that aside as his eyes were on this thing that was acting like a drak but was not?  He was so confused as to what it really was. 

Error had it head to one side. “Sister want to play?”  it asked as it looked at Yasu.  Its eyes look at the other two. “Do brothers want to play?” 

Zephyr fur that was not wet from the rain stood up as he heard that but now he wants this thing gone from his straight as he narrowed his eyes. “We are not your siblings or family or friends.  Can you not see we want you to leave us alone.” 

Yasu steps up next to her brother as she looks at him but looks at it. “Now leave us or we will make sure you don’t follow us.” she let out a threatening growl at it. 

Error just had it head to one side at her words. “Sister wants me to leave but does brother want me to leave too?” Error look at Zephyr then at Haulani. 

Haulani pins his ears and bares his teeth. “Leave.” 

“I am sorry but can you go?  You're not family and we just want to get back home so don’t follow us.”  Zephyr snarls as he turns to leave. He sees Yasu and Haulani following. 

Error just watch them leave blinking their mythic sprite large eyes.
