I-382: Devromos
Personality: Devromos is loyal and caring to those he gets close to, but also extremely temperamental - there's little that doesn't piss him off, and he is extremely prideful. Both of these things he's learned to contain just to be able to exist alongside anyone else, tolerance being the order of his day. Day in, day out, he gets to fight with his own anger, sometimes still snapping at others for seemingly little to no reason. He does not, however, use his violent, mercurial temper as an excuse, and does apologize if he realizes he's gone too far.
He is stubborn and willful when it suits him, highly independent, and does not shy away from combat or death - indeed, assassination and stalking from the shadows are what he was born for. Vengeful when wronged, Devromos' anger does not compromise his sense, as instead he's learned to channel it to help achieve what he wants.
Extras: Devromos is a daeva-descended tiefling, whose soul partially belongs to a dimension of pure shadow. This has permanently left him entwined with the essence of shadow and darkness throughout all reincarnations, and gives him the ability to blend between the realms of shadow and the material, making it difficult if not impossible for those of either realm to harm him. This cannot be maintained for long, and he must recoup some of his strength after each attempt. He can also become invisible at will, but again only temporarily.
Devromos can also shadowport, transport himself almost instantaneously through the realm of shadow to some other part of the material realm, or simply to enter one realm or the other. This ability oft exhausts him, so it is rarely used. Additionally, he can darken areas around him to pitch blackness if he desires and has the energy.
Unlike many tieflings, he has no particular resistance to fire or the cold, but does have some small resistance to electricity and acid. Being partially native to the realm of shadow, and with much of his soul being shadowed by such, Devromos is more severely harmed by light-based attacks, especially if he is channelling shadow- or darkness-based power. Even his brief immunity-providing shadowblend ability is partially pierced by light attacks, disrupting the shadows he becomes.
(All of this is fluff, none of this has any influence on Drakiri game mechanics.)
