Elena doesn't talk much. She has a terrible stutter, made worse by stress and by being pressured to "just spit it out already", and this has made her quite shy. She is occasionally guided in life decisions by dreams... not just any dreams, only certain ones, which seem to have a presence to them and feel like they are somehow much, much more.
