A bit naive, a bit immature, a bit full of himself, a bit stand-offish, more than a bit of a show-off and quite vain. Really do think they're all that and then some, and doesn't always get it when someone isn't at least a bit interested in them. Doesn't always take not having attention very well. Very active. Loves to show off his flying prowess and speed to anyone and everyone who'll watch. Desipte all this he's a lot more bark than bite and if any confrontation actually came to anything serious they could be very easily intimidated into backing down even if the adversary in question was significantly smaller than them. 
They're not cruel-hearted or mean though. He's quite kind beneath his brash and flashy exterior. Just maybe needs someone to take their ego down a few notches and teach them some manners first.

Ira - The two very much got off on the wrong foot, but over time - and after both working through plenty of their own issues - they've become incredibly close. Ira's beginning to learn to trust more and what healthy relationships look like, and Jolt's been learning to not be so afraid of committment. They're very emotionally close, though romance isn't always involved for them. It absolutely can be and definitely is from time to time, but it isn't necessarily constant and it doesn't form the basis of their relationship. They're nearly inseparable sometimes, though it's unlikely either of them would ever admit that - especially not Ira.
