Maturity
Xena stands on the balcony of her home which is also a rest place for draks. Oak off with Ox for an adventure in the seas as she walks down. “Ok…” she grabs her journal as she packs up. “I'm gonna meet three new draks on the beach outside her newfound home. “Oak m gonna go out to meet more Draks,” she says running down the steps and onto the beach.
Three draks are enjoying the day as she smiles. “Hey, im Xena”
The one that looks shiny smiles. “Im Miessa” she crosses her paws. “You look…ok”
“Im Gingerbread,” the one with alien looks says.
The blue and white one with multiple eyes smiles. “Im Sky”
Xena looks away as Meissa says that, remembering the things that her bullies back home said. “Im alright” she smiles. “Ok… what's up for you guys? Where do you wanna go?”
Miessa looks at the catgender. “I THINK we should go someplace where I can test my leadership skills…of course if you want to come you can…but I'm leading, got it human,” she says as they all walk to the edge. Xena’s eye catches something…its a pack like hers… no…it cant be! She runs to it as Meissa rolls her eyes. “What now?”
Sky growls. “Hush, this means something to her”
Xena walks up to the pack and opens it…inside is a journal and a myriad of different items. She picks the journal up…AL in stylized letters is embossed on the front, Xena runs her hand over the soft leather. She opens it… “all my love- Xena” she whispers. Her eyes glimmer with tears. “He's here, my Alpha is here” she scarcely can believe it.
“Come on Xena!” Miessa says. “I can't have people that don't keep up with me”
“Im… I…im coming” she grabs her pencil and writes a small note in the book.

She sets the book back and runs to the three Draks. “Sorry, i had to do something”
Meissa rolls her eyes. “Are you done with whatever that book was?”
She smiles as Ginge looks at her. “Ignore miss snooty, if you want a ride on my back I'm more than willing” Xena climbs on the alien draks back.
“Thanks, you guys are headed to?” Xena asks.
Messia growls. “We are headed to a Bog deep in the forest. Doesn't matter to you much” she turns and stops them. “This human is an observer, she will do nothing to interfere in our affairs”
Xena says nothing as they make their way to the bog, Xena writes in her journal.
Dearest Alpha
I found your journal on the beach, I’m actually near tears right now thinking about the possibility that you are here…was Valraven right? Are you actually here? Can it really actually be? Is it true that you are here in this world? I eagerly await the day that I can see you again and look into your shimmering eyes. My alpha, my love, my wolf. I hope you are ok. I wonder where you are?... I hope my message can be deciphered.
Xena starts sketching the draks and smiles. “So you're a komi?” she asks. “And Sky you have multiple eyes” she smiles. Meissa looks at her.
“What are you doing?” she asks flatly.
“I'm documenting you and your friends. That way when I do meet my Lycon, we can swap stories” her pen writes. “Like for my adventure with Fooli. Or Li”
“What do you write about us,” she asks. “Probs how beastly we are”
“Messia” Sky growls. “Her journal is her own thoughts”
“Well she should have never brought it with her, I think she needs to read it to the class.” she glares at Xena. “She's just a silly girl” she smiles.
Xena shuts up as they move deeper into the forest. Internally she's not doing too well…but she doesn't let that stop her. Sky looks at her. “You ok?”
“Im great,” she says. “Just a bit hurt by Meissa”
“Ignore her, she's so stuck up that she thinks everyone should think like her,” Ginge says. “She thinks she is higher than everyone all because she's a drakus” they walk thru the forest as the white falcon calls, and she looks up as it takes off. “So what's this bog we are going to?” she asks.
“There is st Elmos fire,” she says. “And orbs of magic,” she smiles. “I hope my message gets to Lycon” she smiles.
“So who is Lycon?” Sky asks. “Sounds cute”
“He's everything to me. My heart and my love” she says as Meissa rolls her eyes.
“He sounds like a human. “ she says. “Is he anything like you”
“No, he's kind, warm. He is fire, he is fury, he is my guiding star and my heart” she smiles as the will-o-whisps sparkle and shimmer. She reaches out as one follows her hand. “How cute”
“What is it?” Sky asks Xena as she transforms into her human form after xena gets off of her back.
“Back home there are people called fire dancers…Lycon loved taking me,” she says smiling softly. “Dustfire was a wonderful fire dancer” she watches the forest shift from day to night. She smiles as she gets off as she smiles. She stands and smiles as she starts dancing, the wisps following her hands, she smiles as she moves her hands, she moves with such grace, she almost uses the fire orbs for a contact juggling as they move deeper into the forest. She smiles. “Ginger, your look is interesting,” she says. “You remind me of the xenomorphs back home”
“Im a komi, an alien cross drak.” she smiles. Xena writes that down as she sketches the komi.
“Why do you draw and write about us?” she asks. “Im quite interested.”
Xena smiles. “it's for my adventures. I love documenting you guys” she smiles as Meissa growls. “Hush, you remind me of vega” she growls. “If I ever meet Lycon again I will be able to show him what I found”
“Awww that's so cute,” Sky says. “I hope you two reunite”
Meissa growls. “We are to go to the rite of endurance as soon as we get to where we are going. I expect that the human will stay back” she growls.
They get to where they are as Meissa transforms into a human. “Ok…we will take an endurance run across the bog, testing our skills and strength, you won't be a part of this human…go back to your Lycon,” she says as Xena hisses. “Ohh your part drak now?”
Xena growls as her claws extend. “Don't talk to me like im a normal human” she growls. “Don't make me fight you”
“Oh that's cute. You think you can go toe to toe with a dracus” she laughs. “You're more stupid than I thought”
Sky and Ginger growl at Meissa. “Stop it! She has a right just like us to be here” Sky says.
“When a human, a human sporting cat ears. She is below me”
Xena growls. “Im not gonna give you a reason to hurt me,” she says as she jumps up on a fallen tree. “Careful, there are things here even I can't see,” she says, pulling out twin weapons from her bag and strapping them to her wrists. She flicks her wrists as the twin daggers extend. Then retract. “Let's go” she says as she stops them. Meissa growls.
“What!? Cant i get to where im going without a human leading me” she moves forward pushing Xena aside, a massive forest saber tackles her as Xena chuckles. “Help me”
“This is your fight, I can't help you,” she says. “Any way you don't want help from a lowly human,” she says as another attacks her. She dispatches it easy with a slice to the throat. “
Meissa tosses the twice the size of her saber off of her as she growls. “Damn it Xena im not playing around” she yelps as she is pinned down by it.
Xena chuckles. “What do we say when we need help”
“Miessa!!” Sky calls. “Please”
Ginge chuckles. “You better do as she says”
“Fine, Xena, can you please help me?” Xena smiles and within moments she's on the back with her twin blades in its neck and slipped between its neckbones, breaking its neck. It falls next to Meissa as she leaps off.
“How did you do that!? That thing was 10+ your size!” Ginger asks.
Her blades retract. “Lycon taught me how to do that” she smiles. He taught me just about everything.
“It doesn't matter, I could have done that on my own” Meissa says, she stalks off as Xena smiles.
Sky helps Xena on her back. “So who is Lycon?” she asks her.
“My beloved” she smiles as she touches the ring on her hand. “He is someone I hold very dear to me” she smiles. “Ginger, you would like him so much” she holds back tears. “I miss him deeply but hold true that we will see each other again”
