[Gift] Fungal Forest RoP Endurance

The Fungal Forest is a huge forest made up of all types of fungi. They are all different shapes and sizes. It could’ve come from an alien world the way it looks. The only light is the luminescent fungi and spores of light. Icarium knows this because she is the perfect drak. She is just THE best, she should be queen of ALL draks… well that’s what she thinks. Icarium is going out to The Fungal Forest today in hopes of completing her passage and proving herself worthy. Which, she knows she’ll succeed in doing it, because she is just THAT perfect.

Nightmares are really dangerous, hostile creatures, at least that’s what Rust has always believed. They have always been dangerous and he hates them with a passion. He was raised to know them as this because of where his passage is going to take place. He will be going through The Fungal Forest which has nightmares that do not know about the rejoining. They will attack him, as long as he attacks first it should end well. He is going in hopes of completing his passage and proving himself worthy. With or without death of other creatures depends on the creature.

An orphan is alone, has no family, can be aggressive because they are raised differently, they take on the leadership role because they have been alone and done everything on their own. Alyvia is an orphan, she’s had no parents for as long as she has been alive. She has no idea what happened to them. She is aggressive to others, she doesn’t mean to be, she is just guarded off and it’s difficult for her to make friends. She also has been the leader in the orphanage. She likes to lead, she enjoys knowing what to do and helping.

Icarium is just getting ready to go to The Fungal Forest, for her passage. She has been waiting for this moment for her entire life. She is ready to prove that she is worthy. She already knows she is but she wants to make sure everyone else knows. The Fungal Forest is dark though, there is not much light, and she is prepared for this, she is prepared to fight anything that she crosses paths with. If she sees another drak she doesn’t know what she’ll do. Maybe she’ll befriend them, maybe she’ll kill them, or maybe she’ll ignore them, she would love to make a friend or two.

Rust is just swimming out of his home, to go on his passage in The Fungal Forest. This is the time he has been waiting for. It has already been so long. He is really passionate about being worthy. It is his warrior side. As he is heading out of his home he sees something. Is it a nightmare? He prepares his stance ready to fight whatever it is. It hops out, it’s a sprite just crossing in front of his home. He never usually sees anything but he ignores it. He heads out of his home and towards The Fungal Forest as the sprite just skips the other way, like a deer through a meadow.

Alyvia is getting ready to head to The Fungal Forest when the orphanage owner comes up to her. “Will you be coming back after your long journey.” After hearing that Alyvia contemplates it. She doesn’t want to come back, but where will she go? “No, I will not, goodbye for good and thanks for caring for me since I was young,” as she says that she walks away. It is dark in The Fungal Forest so she will need a way to see. She hopefully will not get lost. She always leads so it is very unlikely that she will lose her way.

As Icarium makes her way towards The Fungal Forest she sees a drak… That is what she thinks she sees. Maybe it is a drak to wish her on her way. Even though she doesn’t need luck because she is her, she is best. She looks harder and notices it is a dracus, she herself is half dracus. Maybe they could become friends. But … What if this dracus doesn’t want to be friends. She loves making friends and being the noble queen she envisions herself to be, even if she isn’t really a queen. She walks toward the dracus.

Rust is making his way to The Fungal Forest and from where he is at it’s a long way. He continues his walk, half-way running. He is ready to just get this over with. The warrior side is ready for a battle. As he goes, he passes many drakiri. Is this normal? He thinks to himself. There is never usually so many. They all gather near him and wish him luck. In his home people have always loved him because he is always nice and takes care of anyone who is rude and disrespectful. He thanks every single one and continues on his way. Flashing a smile backwards before he is too far from their sight.

Alyvia sees a primal-dracus heading towards her. They look mad. Why are they heading towards her? She thinks to herself. Are they looking for a fight? Alyvia isn’t well trained in fighting but she knows some things. She was never taught that great in anything. “Hey, who are you? What do you want?” Alyvia addresses this drak. Whoever they are, they won’t find any kindness with her. She is very defensive. “If you’re here to be mean or to bother me see yourself out right now,” she is acting tougher than she is because she is scared but is trying to scare them.

Why is this dracus so… rude and aggressive. It is so unnaturally mean, I think there is something off about them, maybe she should help this poor dracus. “Hello, I am Icarium, I don’t mean you harm, and you shall address me with more kindness, as I am a queen,” even though she isn't truly queen she can probably fool this dracus into believing that she is a ruler or of noble bloodline. “I would like to be your friend… if you are going through The Fungal Forest we can go together!” this dracus seems… lonely maybe that’s what seems so… off.

As Rust is walking he sees these other draks. He hopes they will not be a problem for him. As they are near The Fungal Forest they are probably going together. He can see that they are talking to each other… friends? No, that one looks like it’s being aggressive, too aggressive and defensive to be friends. Rust continues to walk and observe them. Maybe he should approach them. Maybe he could make friends with them. Would they slow him down? Or would he be helping them? The warrior side of him wants to help them. He is scared of what they might do tho…

Alyvia responds saying “I am Alyvia, I didn’t mean to be rude to you,” She really didn’t mean to be rude. It is just instinctive. “Yes, we can go through The Fungal Forest together, this does not make us friends.” She really doesn’t want to grow attachments with other draks. That will make her tied to it and have to stay with it like when she had to live in the orphanage. She is scared of having to rely on something or some other drak. She wants to be able to be alone with no other help. “I will lead the way.” She says in a pretty stern way she might’ve upset Icarium.

Icarium doesn’t understand why Alyvia is so rude but before she has the chance to ask her about it a kelpie walks up to them. “Hello, kelpie, we are going through The Fungal Forest. I am Icarium and this is Alyvia. She would like to lead the way. If that isn’t a problem with you, we should get on our way.” Icarium is getting kind of impatient; she really wants to enter. Why so many draks be going at the same time as her. She doesn’t mind, she loves friends. Then Alyvia starts to just… head in without an answer from this kelpie. Icarium follows.

“I am Rust, I can and will join you, I shall protect you if it comes down to it,” Rust has this really storing warrior side of protecting draks he feels is weak, and these two seem… alright, Alyvia? Rust can’t recall if that is her exact name but they seem kind of weak, they look frailer compared to Icarium? These two will be a fun pair… he thinks to himself, as he had earlier seen Alyvia being scared but yet… being the leader? Just doesn’t make sense to Rust. They started to walk even before he had answered. He follows with his senses on high alert.

Alyvia leads the way into The Fungal Forest, she grabs some of these plants to create light. She looks back and sees the shimmering trail they leave behind. “Hey guys, look at that…'' She is trying to be friendly. She would honestly love to become friends with them, and they seem like good fighters… maybe she'll learn something from them. Icarium, Rust, and Alyvia continue through The Fungal Forest until they make it to their destination. They have succeeded in this passage and proved worthy and possibly have made a great friendship.
