Umbro and siblings going up The Mountain

Umbro is a pure black Q’lin Drakiri with 2 siblings, Fani and Venustus. Fani is a light brown colored Primal-Q'lin crossbreed Drakiri with a snake pattern, three minty eyes with glowing trails. Venustus is a silver colored Primal Drakiri, his scales are a golden color with light blue eyes that have a glowing trail. 

Umbro and his siblings are going to set off to get to the Sacred Grove. They sleep peacefully throughout the night in their home with their parents. At dawn they set off to go to the Sacred Grove to find a nice place to start their own families. Traveling there will be a really hard journey, for it is really cold and very steep. At any point there can be a very treacherous ice storm. 

Umbro wakes up with a big yawn and wakes up his siblings. Fani doesn’t wanna wake up, he loves his sleep. While Venustus is always ready for everything and rarely sleeps, they like adventure. It takes a while to wake Fani but Umbro and Venustus eventually get him to awaken.

The three siblings look out to The Mountains. They’re so big, the path is cleared but it gets really steep at points. Venustus likes to lead everything so, they are in the front and Fani and Umbro follow behind. They start to make their way out of their birth home. They start to follow the path up The Mountains. 

They trot along like little ponies going on an adventure.

Venustus says “Are you guys hungry? I think I see some deer ahead.”

Umbro responds with, “Yes, I am really hungry, shall we go hunting Fani?
Fani answers with, “Yea, sure, I’ll stay behind though.” Fani is still as sleepy and lazy as ever. He usually stays behind on most things, usually in the morning, especially when it is a time as early as right now. When it becomes night time he likes to do a lot of things. 

Umbro and Venustus crouch up to the deer and watch them for a long time. Eventually Umbro spots a very good looking deer and pounces on it like a cat and sinks his fangs into its neck. Venustus had also seen a deer. They sliced the deer’s throat. Fani then comes over and starts to eat off of what Umbro and Venustus got.

“That was one nice feast,” all three siblings say in unison. After eating they continue their journey up the mountains. They follow the path, just walking until they run into an obstacle. A tree in the middle of the path. They have no idea on how it got there but it is and they then have to try and climb over it. They work together to make it over the log but on the other side is a wolf. They then have to fight the wolf, they easily scare it away but in the distance they can hear howling, which doesn’t seem like a good idea so they start running straight up the path. At some point the path starts getting really really steep so they have to be very careful.

They fall down and have to re-walk some of the path. It then begins to get darker and darker. Fani wants to keep going but Umbro and Venustus do not, they want to sleep. Fani then says “If we stop now we might never get there.”
Umbro responds, “If we don’t sleep we won’t have enough energy to make it another mile.” Silently Venustus agrees.
“Okay, you two sleep I will keep watch,” Fani says. He knows that if he sleeps it will be worse when he wakes up so he might as well stay awake and keep them safe.

They make a little area of safety and before going to sleep Venustus asks Fani, “are you sure you want to stay up and watch.”

Fani answers, “yes, you know how it is when I have to wake up early.”

Venustus and Umbro then curl up and go to sleep. During the night Fani sees some wolves crowding around them in a circle. Fani starts to yell to Umbro and Venustus “Wake up! Wolves!” He fastely wakes up Umbro and Venustus.

“Run! Up the path just go until you can’t!” Venustus says in a very army leader kind of way. They run for what seems like forever, it is dark out, almost pitch black. They can’t see each other.

“Umbro! Venustus! Where are you?” Fani says in a very panicked voice. Fani has anxiety and in this situation is starting to freak out, he can’t see his siblings but he tries to calm himself, then he feels some fur on his leg. He goes closer to it thinking it is Umbro but it then bites him. “Ow!” Fani yelps in pain as he backs away. He slices at it and can feel he caught it. He brings out his fangs and bites at where it used to be. The wolf has moved though. 

“Fani! Up here!” Umbro and Venustus yell for Fani, they are just right up from the path. Fani tries to work farther up the path but a wolf claws him again, but with cat-like reflexes he bites their neck and it snaps and he runs up to Umbro and Venustus.

“Let’s keep going, they will eventually stop,” Fani says to Umbro and Venustus. They then just trot up the path going mildly fast. It is still basically pitch black out. Assuming it is the middle of the night they get to a stopping point. When they no longer hear any wolves or smell any near they set up a safe sleeping area and Venustus and Umbro go to sleep again with Fani on watch.

At around dawn Fani wakes up his siblings and they start walking but they are getting closer to the great ice cave. It is getting colder. It is getting way colder. There is starting to be ice on almost every surface. “We are almost there! But it is getting really cold, I think there might be an ice storm soon, we may want to go find some cover during the storm” Venustus says to his siblings.

“Yea, we can stop up here in this little cave,” Umbro responds looking at a small cave that isn’t really a cave, just a tiny hole that will barely fit the three of them.

“Sounds like a good idea, I can sleep during that time!” Fani says very excitedly since he hasn’t slept for over 24 hours. They walk over to the cave and Fani goes to sleep. The ice storm comes a while after that. The ice storm is very very harsh and a bunch of ice goes into Umbro’s long fur. 

“This storm is really really colddd,” Venustus says while shivering. Venustus doesn’t have nearly as much fur as Umbro so he is more affected by the cold. 

“How is Fani sleeping through this?” Umbro says to himself mainly. Fani went into a really deep sleep. Even through a freezing ice storm this Drakiri can sleep. Then the ice becomes thicker and sharper and it starts to slice through some of the skin on Venustus.

“Ow!” Venustus yelps. It was really loud and echoed off the cave walls. They start to hear some howling but just ignore it because it’s an ice storm, what predator would attack during this. But as it sounds closer Venustus asks Umbro “should we wake up Fani and just make it the rest of the way? The wolves are getting closer.”

“No, we should stay and let him sleep, we can just fight off the wolves,” Umbro answers. They then just stare at the entrance trying to make out the wolf figures. There are about 10 wolves. 

Venustus then again asks “Should we go now? There are way too many.”

“No, we can handle it, prove yourself worthy to protect your family Venustus.” Umbro answers again with a more stern voice. He bares his teeth out to the wolves. These 10 wolves stand no chance against their fangs, at least that's what Umbro thinks.

“Okay, but if you think we should go just say it,” Venustus says in a very worried voice. Venustus is just a sweet Drakiri, he really doesn’t like having to kill other creatures but sometimes you do what you have to. 

“The wolves are getting really close, just get ready Venustus,” Umbro commands and he starts creeping out of the cave for the fight. He flashes his big fangs at the wolves in an attempt to try to scare them away but the wolves just do the same thing back. Umbro then bites one's thigh and they start bleeding and they no longer can use that leg. The wolves then start coming more and more, maybe 20, 30, way too many. “Venustus wake Fani, NOW!”
Venustus starts yelling at Fani to wake up, eventually Fani does and they start sprinting towards the ice cave, they aren’t that far from it. After a while a wolf bites Fani’s leg and Fani kicks it off but whimpers in pain. They make it to the ice cave and the wolves run away. They made it. “That was one long journey,” they say in unison.
